Building fluency through game play is a hallmark of the Brain Friendly Reading™ program. The BFR™ games encourage children to read sets of words, phrases or sentences over and over. This is the ‘work’ that develops fluency. This resource contains explanations for several games in the BFR™ curriculum as well as a blank game board so children can create their own games by writing words they are learning. These lists are an extension of the work in the BFR™ Training Companion Guide. The words, phrases and sentences from the book are included here as well as hundreds more allowing for additional repetition. This series follows the BFR™ scope and sequence.
