Chart Bundle: All 8 Sound Charts (with and without pictures)

$6.00

Description

In this bundle, get all 8 charts with pictures AND all 8 seven charts without pictures along with directions for how to use them along with a progress monitoring tool. Follow the 7-step sequence to help your students quickly and efficiently learn ALL the phonemes to the point of knowing them automatically. 1st CHART:   Use this chart to teach and then reinforce the sound/symbol connection for children. It is an essential skill for reading.  SHORT VOWELS CHART:  Use this chart to help a child discriminate and practice just the short vowels.  Often a child knows the consonants but stumbles over the vowels. BLENDS CHART:  Use this chart for children who are learning their consonant teams. Tapping this chart repeatedly helps children to develop automaticity with the sound/symbol connection. Quickly knowing what each of these teams says is an aid to reading and spelling.    TEAMS CHART:    Learning vowel teams is crucial for older struggling readers. The rule when two vowels go walking…only applies to 25% of the first vowel team pairings. SYLLABLES CHART:  This chart helps a child to understand the different vowel sounds in different types of syllables.  Use this chart as reinforcement for learning the different syllable types.   2nd Chart: This chart can be used in two ways. First, perhaps a child has tapped the 1st chart for quite awhile and they are ready to ‘graduate’ to the second chart and stop tapping common consonant sounds. Second, the 2nd chart can be introduced to older children who know their common consonant sounds. Those children may never need to tap the 1st chart. K – Use this chart with brand new, young readers who would be overwhelmed by the 1st chart. PreK students will benefit from chart tapping as well. K2 – Use this chart after early readers have mastered the K chart. YOUTUBE VIDEO TUTORIALS:  Go to the Brain Friendly Reading Channel to find videos of each chart.  There are also QR Codes on many of the charts that link directly to the videos. They are call and response, which means you can use them with the child to learn the charts.
