Level II BFR Asynchronous Training

This course is for those who have completed the BFR Level I training.  This course covers the second half of the BFR Training Companion Guide which includes how to teach syllable types: Vowel Teams, R-Control Vowels and Final Stable Syllables.  The course also covers other advanced skills and spelling rules.  While ideally these skills are learned by children by the end of 3rd grade, many still don’t know them in upper elementary, MS and HS.  BFR in an intervention program for these ages and is designed to help move older children up the ladder of reading quickly. Completion of this course and BFR Level 1 will allow you to have the opportunity to become certified as BFR Reading Interventionist.
